my friend marc was mentioning a film "jane austen book club" which he attended and i naturally started thinking about "pride and prejudice" and "emma" along with the other gems she wrote. more importantly, mr darcy and mr. knightley who are my favorite characters from those stories respectively popped into my head. the dark mysterious heroes who were in love silently in the shadows, but came forward in the end of the stories. they represent such antique ideals, however there is something about their representations and their journeys that really whacks me like a 2x4. i know that i am adopting the intention to be the kind of person i want to love. this on many days is quite an order. but that's another post, entirely. so, for today, here we go. a clip of a demonstration of the reason for the title and a whimsical nod from a couple of stories that tell of journey of finding love after believing it isn't yours and may never be. make films of those stories and employ actors who are not merely pretty faces and i'm there. funny, it seems another friend is on a similar page today. fantasy works at times and in the following instances i found fantasy working for me.

What? No restrospective on the work of Marcel Marceau?
You forget Willoughby! (I always have a weakness for the bad boys.) My favorite hot Brit with a name ending in "am" is Jason Statham. (Transporter I & II)
And I could go on about this topic for the length of 40 You Tubes. (Oh, and Hugh Dancy in ELIZABETH)
Jeremy Northam as Mr. Knightley was a revelation when I first saw Emma. As for Pride & Prejudice, the BBC did a better job.
Another beautiful post!!!!!
