i have always been an hgtv junkie for as long as i can remember. but the last 2 seasons or so, i have become enamored with scott mcillivry of "income property". he remodels basement and income apartments for people and seems to love to do it. i would say he is a contractor and gets his rush from overseeing the job and bringing in the results.
on many occasions, he has found a homeowner in tears over the scope of the job they have in front of them, and he kindly and succinctly brings home the bacon.
it doesn't hurt that he is soft-spoken, well mannered, and completely adorable. oh maybe that is the point. anyway, he has my vote.
today's sound choice is vintage jean knight with "mr big stuff"
