i'm typing this just before i leave for la. i'm listening to leona and i'm thinking "pop diva" but i don't care. i had lunch with a bud and we discussed the new career he is germinating. it was exciting to listen and to watch him speak of his life with such passion. he is so young and so charming and he has talent. he has been sober for 5 years and his self awareness is recognizable and respectable. no doubt he will encounter success.
he was talking about some of his self-talk and he was noting its mirror in "the artist's way". our brains like to do things that have already been done, but really can give us a hard time when we are trying to do something we haven't done before.
