I had it all worked out. Christ. At least I thought I did.from less than zero
- Julian
running just as fast as i can.
the finish line is in sight.
just gotta make it to the border.
freedom and a new life await me.
i'm not sure what it will look like,
but it has to be better than this.
i know there will come a day
when i won't have to feel a need to escape.
Clay and his dealer in Less Than Zero:
Where are we going? I asked him.
"I don't know," he said. "Just driving".
"But this road does not go anywhere," I told him.
"That doesn't matter."
"What does?" I asked, after a little while.
"Just that we're on it, dude," he said.
Dean Moriarty and Sal Paradise in On the Road:
"Oh, man," said Dean to me as we stood in front of a bar, "[...] Sal, we got to go and never stop till we get there."
"Where are we going, man."
"I don't know but we gotta go."
i woke up this morning and i thought: this is the first day of how my life is going to be and that made me smile. it feels good to smile, and i feel as if i haven't really smiled in awhile. there are so many incredible things that are happening in my life today. opportunities are opening up around me and i feel a skip in my step and a lightness breaking through in my heart.
"i am happy, healthy, and whole, and i am immersed in abundance and support!"

In the mall? With Gumby. Of course. Ooo, I saw a "76" sign! I like this song, actually.
I'm excited for you with all this opportunity holding wide the open arms. Jump!
You are so cool.
