i think it's time to take a break. i have learned so much and grown so incredibly from this process. but, i feel as if my muse has taken flight. we'll hope we can return someday.... there is much to do yet in life. if this is your first visit, my experience tells me that recovery works. it is possible to change one's life. a spiritual program is the thing that worked for me. don't give up.... don't pick up.

Awwww, I hope you come back soon. Keep in touch by email, please. By the way, I love the purple background.
I think far more people will miss your daily food for thought than will leave a comment. But to be blunt, that's our problem and not yours. Now we all have an opportunity to be grateful that we had your blog as long as we have. And nothing is ever permanent; not even a decision to stop writing one's blog.
Having quit writing my own blog not so long ago, I have an affinity for where I think you might be right now, though the reasons and circumstance for each of us need not be even similar. I too had thought along the lines that my muse had flown the coop. But no such thing occurred. My muse is with me always, no matter what I chose to do.
In retrospect, I now know that writing my blog allowed me to learn how see things in a smaller frame. Writing it, though, was focusing on a frame from the past. What I really wanted to do was focus an a frame in the future. And so I have.
Of course not writing my own blog is so much easier because I can leave long-winded comments on the blogs of others. Ha!
I will keep in touch my friend. I hope you will as well.
Holy crap, I am so bummed. I don't think there is a more compelling, genuine recovery blog than Kickin' Tina. I learned a lot here. So I will swallow my sorrow and wish you Godspeed, and pray you come back some time. Please stay in touch my friend.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to refuse your resignation. You did not go through proper channels, which would mean consulting with me. So, I give you one week to regroup, and than you start blogging again. You have an obligation to your adoring public and that is that!
