Whenever I learn of the death by suicide of someone, I always think of a line from John Donne's Meditation #17, "the death of any man diminishes me."
Btw, I agree with your comment that you left on my blog regarding John Mayer. I think that we've become way too quick to be the word police. In my reading of his words, no insult was intended and I think that intent has to count for something.
