boulder pride

this saturday September 8 from 11am til 6pm is the pride block party in boulder and mile high meth project is doing some outreach. we definitely want to let the lgbt community in that area to know that there is gay men's programming in denver. and we believe that there is some interest in the crystal meth treatment program and in the change in available options for gay men. We will share the booth with men4men4life an organization that is asking important questions. i definitely have a soft spot in our hearts for them.

the dog tag pictured is being given out. i'm not sure if we are using the "knock it off" game again, but it certainly kept the crowd interested at denver pride. i think people just like to be actively doing something as opposed to being passive and looking at information.

the postcards pictured below will be available also for people to take away with them. great for the fridge i think. i'll have to tell people that it's their free t-shirt. so if you are in boulder on saturday for the block party, please stop by and say hello, win a dog tag, and get a free t-shirt(lol). a friendly face is always a good thing. and support wellness and recovery in our community.
