i have been incredified with the consideration of big business friendly palin as a national leader. this is not to say she is without merit or good traits. i suppose my real concern is the priorities she holds dear and the order in which she lists them.
granted, i don't think she could ever be the "great and powerful oz-like" vp character we have in place today, but there is that possibility that mccain could come to his end somehow within the next four years.
i hear fodder all the time about people's concern that obama will be assassinated. and they say it as if it were a good reason not to elect him. his message is based on our nation living in hope instead of fear. but then look at the option. the aging ex-military man who is probably not very in touch with over half the voters, or especially their issues, in this country and who is 10 years past the age of retirement. and if something were to happen to him, then the "killing is okay if you have a shotgun and a license" and "drilling is okay if it keeps the cash flowing" nominee moves to the front of the line.
i found this song on a chill compilation at ministry of sound. it's by james bright featuring rachel lloyd. i have become a big fan of imeem because i can find music that has not been posted on youtube.
