attention all queers in recovery. (and their supporters!)
the rocky mountain roundup is sponsoring a bbq in cheesman park today. 2pm at the south end of the park (right where gay AA plays nellieball) burgers and dogs provided. bring a dish to share and maybe something for the bake sale. desserts will probably be purchased today, so bring an extra dollar or two. ( it all goes to the august roundup in winter park). if you don't have it, big deal. bring your ass anyway. fill your tummy, and laugh your ass off.

i was thinking about how lame i used to think these things were, when i was so tragically hip. but recovery has helped me learn to enjoy simpler get-togethers and outings, and being of service in some way.

so come join us today, play croquet, badminton, nellieball, or headcrushers, get some sun, and have some fun. and get out yourself for a bit. see if it doesn't make a world of difference.
