i am so grateful for brian's post today at acidrefluxweb. it is such a breath of fresh air to hear somebody serve up some more sanity and balance to a very one-sided conversation. kisses and curtsies to you my friend. i really needed to hear this today. gay men who are positive and gay men who are negative both share responsibility in opening up about status. there is not a rock on this planet that anyone can hide under to say they didn't know. it is NOT okay to rip off someone whom you didn't ask prior to investigation. and it is never okay to assume it is someone else's responsibility to take care of me.

on a lighter note: men4men4life is in the process presenting a hand-holding event at pride festival at 2pm. the location is tbd. the idea, i believe, is to hold hands for two minutes or so to make a visible statement to denver that there are gay men willing and wanting to stand together side by side to make some changes in the way we treat each other. i really am looking forward to this event.
